About Tom Brown

Tom is a native of the area, a United States Marine, with a degree in engineering from VA Tech and very active in serving his community through numerous non-profit organizations.

Tom Brown is a native of this area, an alumnus of VA Tech with a degree in engineering and was employed by DuPont for 31 years. He served his country as a United States Marine and has been very active in serving his community for many years! He has held leadership positions in such organizations as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Arc of Augusta, United Way, RiverFest, Dogwood Place, Waynesboro Senior Center, Camp Virginia, Jaycee, Rotary and the Wayne Theatre Alliance. He also is a board member and serves on several committees of the WARM Organization, an organization helping homeless men, women, children and veterans in the area. He received the distinguished Salvation Army’s Overton Award and was named Outstanding Young Man of Virginia. He is an active member of Main Street United Methodist Church and lives in Augusta County with his wife Amy.
