    Betty has been a licensed Real Estate agent in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley for more than two decades after relocating herself from Chattanooga, TN, where she owned her own Real Estate company.   During her career, she has assisted hundreds of buyers and sellers as they transitioned into their new roles in the Valley.  Betty has always been an over achiever when it comes to her Real Estate career.  She is confident that education, knowledge and the ability to apply that information throughout a transaction gives her clients an edge.  Seamless transactions and limited stress to her clients are a testament to her insight, skill and experience.

    "When my wife and I decided to moved from Washington DC to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, we consulted a Realtor Finder website that claimed to find the most highly rated realtors in any locale in the United States. We received a list of several realtors in our area of interest, Augusta County, and called each one and left a message concerning our need. The first to return our call was Betty Garey and her call came within 15 minutes of leaving our message.

    We arranged to meet the next morning at Betty’s office. Wow! Betty welcomed us into her office with a polished professional demeanor accented by a warmth and keen interest. We discussed our requirements for the home that we were seeking and Betty listened carefully asking clarification questions along the way. She said she would do her research quickly and arrange for as many showings as possible. Boy, did she! During the two days we were able to stay in town Betty showed us at least 10 homes and every single one had the characteristics we sought. The last home we viewed on our last day was IT!

    The process of signing a contract with our offer went smoothly and was soon accepted by the owner. It was the easiest process possible because of Betty’s expertise and dedication.

    Six years later we decided to move to North Carolina to be closer to family and friends. We called Betty to start the sale process. She remembered us and arranged to come by the next day. She arrived exactly at the appointed hour and greeted us with a warm, socially distanced greeting. For about an hour we talked about the improvements we had made and our asking price. Betty showed us a number of comparable listings and agreed that our price was right on target. She came back the next day to take pictures and obtain our approval of the verbiage that would be included in the listing.

    Over the following week we showed the house to three buyers. On the eighth day we received a cash offer and signed a contract. During that week, Betty kept us informed of each prospective buyers’ situation and level of interest.

    Once we accepted an offer, Betty arranged for all the required tests and inspections. She also arranged our closing time and date. The whole process was extremely easy because Betty stayed on top of each step all along the way.
